The sheer power and frame of a lion is one that never fails to impress. Here you can just see the head of another lion at the bottom of the frame.
Both were slightly above head hight looking out for anything that moved in the distance.
During one walk, two lions were right in front of me when they saw a deer passing in front of us about 150 yards ahead. They ran.
It took about an hour to round them up again and continue on our walk. The deer, on this occassion, escaped. It was not always the case.
