Being given the pleasure to interact with lions is a truly magical gift. I am fortunate to visit Mauritius, where, at a small island zoo they house six lions.
First brought in as cubs, they are now growing up and each visit is a chance to see them develop and mature.
Interation takes the form of watching from a raised balcony, going inside their large enclosure or actually taking them for one hour walks through the local savanah.
